Is this real silk or satin?
Real mulberry silk — 22-momme, long-fibre, silk on both sides. "Satin" is a weave, not a fibre; most cheap satin is polyester.
What does 22-momme mean?
Momme measures silk's density. 19-momme is the usual standard for good pillowcases; 22-momme is a step above — noticeably more substantial, more opaque, and longer-lasting.
Which size do I need?
Standard (48 × 74 cm) fits most standard pillows. Petite (51 × 66) suits smaller pillows, Queen (51 × 76) and King (51 × 91) match their namesakes.
